Dr Mirna Azar completed her medical training in Internal Medicine at Université de Montréal and her specialty in Endocrinology & Metabolism at Mcgill University. She furthered her training in the field of obesity with one year post-doctoral training at the Ottawa Hospital Bariatric Center of Excellence. Dr Azar is a  Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Dr Azar works at Hôpital du Sacré-Coeur de Montreal, which is a teaching hospital affiliated to Université of Montreal, where she practices general endocrinology and runs a bariatric medicine clinic.
