Dr. Heba Alfaris is a skilled and accomplished surgeon with a particular interest in bariatric surgery. She completed her medical education at King Saud University in Riyadh in 2012 before embarking on her residency training in general surgery in her home country.
Throughout her training, Dr. Alfaris demonstrated a keen interest and aptitude in the field of bariatric surgery. This interest led her to pursue a fellowship at the University of Montreal, where she is currently honing her skills and knowledge in this specialized area of surgery. During her fellowship, she is working alongside leading experts in the field, furthering her expertise in the latest techniques and approaches.
Dr. Alfaris has also authored several research publications related to bariatric surgery, which have been published in prestigious medical journals. Her research work focuses on the effectiveness of various surgical interventions for weight loss and the outcomes of bariatric surgery.
Upon completion of her fellowship, Dr. Alfaris plans to return to Saudi Arabia to practice at King Saud Medical City in Riyadh.
