Julie Favron-Godbout is a research assistant currently working under the supervision of Dr. Simon Bacon, Dr. Kim Lavoie and Dr. Tair Ben-Porat at the Montreal Behavioural Medicine Centre (MBMC). Having completed a bachelor degree in cognitive neuroscience (neuropsychology) in 2020 and a graduate microprogram in neurosciences in 2022, her research interests include psychological risk factors (e.g., childhood trauma) that impact weight, eating behaviours and mental health preceding bariatric surgery.
